Description
Abbott Diagnostics iScreen™ Adulteration Test Strips, CR, NI, GL, pH, SG, OX/PCC, 25/BTL
The I-DUC-111 tests for the presence of creatinine, nitrite, glutaraldehyde, pH, specific gravity, and oxidants/pyridinium chlorochromate (PCC) in urine. It also screens for chemicals that are not normally found in urine, such as Klear, Clear Choice, and UrinAid.
Features
- Drug Adulteration Strips are a fast dip-and-read test for the determination of diluted or adulterated urine specimens. They are an important pre-screening test for any testing program.
- The one step dip and read specimen validity test semi-quantitatively analyzes a urine specimen for 7 parameters on six reactive pads in one easy step.
- Color chart provided to check your results. This adulteration test provides quick results.
- Adulteration testing can be a very important part of the drug testing process to make sure the donor is not trying to mask the drug use. UScreenTests.com has the most up-to-date and highest quality adulteration test available.
- Results are obtained by comparing the color on each of test pads with the corresponding pad on the container color chart.
iScreen™ Adulteration Test Kit - Seven Parameters on Six Reactive Pads | |
Creatinine | This test covers the most common form of specimen tampering, specimen dilution. Dilution using diuretics is also often referred to as "Flushing". |
Nitrites | This covers a class of chemicals not normally found in human urine. Common occurrences are the additive of such products of Klear. |
Glutaraldehyde | This covers a class of chemicals not normally found in human urine. Common occurrences are the additive of such products Clear Choice and UrinAid. |
pH | Tests for the presence of acidic or alkaline adulterants in urine. |
Specific Gravity | Tests for the Viscosity of the urine sample. |
Oxidants / PCC | Tests for the presence of oxidizing reagents such as bleach, hydrogen peroxide and pyridinium chlorochromate. |
This assay provides only a preliminary analytical test result. A more specific alternate chemical method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result. Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) is the preferred confirmatory method. Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied to any drug of abuse test result, particularly when preliminary positive results are indicated. |
